BENNU.

Makeup is sold on someone else’s face. See it on yours.

Bennu puts a look on your own photograph before you spend anything on it. Pick one from the catalogue, copy one you saw somewhere, or describe where you’re going and let it work the rest out.

Three ways in.

The first two hand off to the third whenever you want to go further.

  1. Pick a look

Browse the catalogue and read the steps — which product, in what order, where on the face. Then see the finished look on your own photo.

    Steps are free
  2. Copy a look

Two photographs: yours, and the one you saw and liked. Bennu reads the second and puts it on the first, then writes out how it was done.

    Two photos in, one out
  3. Describe the evening

A wedding, indoors, evening light, emerald dress. Bennu reads your skin tone and undertone, suggests a look for the occasion, and shows it to you.

    Occasion, light, outfit

Your photograph is the whole product.

A photograph of your face is biometric data. We treat it that way rather than as a file. Here is exactly what happens to it.

You agree before anything is collected

Nothing can be uploaded until you’ve said yes, and the record keeps which version of the notice you were shown.

Uploads expire after thirty days

Not a promise to run a cleanup job — a rule on the storage itself, so the photo goes whether anyone remembers or not.

The model is told not to keep it

Generation runs on a third-party model. Every request tells it to hold nothing once the look is rendered.

Delete means delete

Remove a photo and the file goes, not a flag on a row. Close your account and everything derived from it goes with it.

It launches on the App Store.
